Military PR Officer for the Roswell Incident Leaves Deathbed Confession
Lieutenant Walter Haut, the
public relations officer who, in 1947, issued both the statement confirming the Air Force
had captured a flying disk and the subsequent statement saying it was only a balloon left
an affidavit to be read after his death.
The contests of the sworn statement were released last week after
Haut's death last year. He states that there were in fact two crashes and the press
releases were to draw attention to the publicly known one in order to protect another
crash site.
Haut states that he was shown the craft by Colonel Blanchard and
that he personally saw alien bodies. He concludes by saying, "I am convinced that
what I personally observed was some kind of craft and its crew from outer space.
Airline Pilots See 'Mile-Wide' UFO
A brilliant white cigar-shaped
object has been sighted by airline pilots over the Channel Islands. The mystery object was
seen by the pilot and passengers of an Aurigny Airlines flight and was also spotted by a
nearby Tri-Lander aircraft.
"It was 2,000ft up and stationary. I thought it was about 10
miles away, although I later realised it was approximately 40 miles from us... It could
have been as much as a mile wide," said Aurigny Airlines captain Ray Bowyer.
A second similar object was also seen. Not all data on the incident
has been released. A senior CAA source said that "certain parts of the report have
not been published. I cannot say why."
