When the self made "King Prasutagus" of the Iceni died, Boudica his wife was made Queen of all the tribes, so the Romans thought they would take over the East Anglian Coast and Romanise it as they had done to the rest of Briton. With in no time at all a small Roman army came up from the South to burn and destroy a lot of the Iceni villages and towns plus the Rape of "Queen Boudica" and her two daughters, which were living peacefully in Norfolk. The Roman army with the Clans loot of Gold and Treasure, and thinking that the victory was easy, but they did not realise the popularity of the new royal "Queen Boudica." Within days her words rang out to all the tribes of East Anglia and every Iceni Warrior was outraged and ready to die for their Queen.

It only took a few weeks and a small army was formed in Norfolk who quickly killed off all the Romans who were living in the area. Within a few months as her Victories became common talk, armies from all over the Southern Region of Briton were rebelling against the Roman forts and towns. The news also swept to the Midlands even to the Great Celtic Tribes of the North and it was written "Roman Towns and Cities were Burnt to the ground and every Man, Woman and Child were put to Death" news travelled fast to Rome itself and the Emperor ordered his army to put down the rebellion at once.

Queen Boudica, now with a Great Army of the Iceni carrying the flags and banners of all the different tribes and clans, probably many would have a picture of the Dragon which would have proudly been flown in front of many a Great Battle. Queen Boudica with her chariots of war and the armies of the Iceni were encamped in Norfolk ( may be at Thetford ) preparing themselves for the next stage of the rebellion "The March to London." The Queens name Boudaccia or Boudica it has been spelt many different ways but means "Victoria or Victory" she was of Royal Celtic stock which probably went back 500 years the Iceni tribes spoke a Celtic language the distant Ancestor of today's Welsh. She was the wife of "Prasutagus, a Roman made King" and had two daughters that carried her great head of red hair which gave a terrifying appearance to her enemies.
